Rules to Writing:
Don’t take rules too seriously—rules are meant to be reinvented and not imposed on the reader. Write and keep writing, there’s time to edit later. If something causes you to be stuck in your writing try a change of pace, write from the middle or write your ending. Brainstorm interesting scenes you want to write and write them even if you’re not at that part in your story, it’ll serve as inspiration. Use cliches to your advantage and reinvent them if you’re going to use cliches might as well make them interesting to your reader. Get to know your characters, feel what they feel, make them more than a character make them a person. Prioritize what’s most important to you, especially when it comes to writing, do something fulfilling and not something you have to do just because. Have fun and enjoy yourself, practice whenever possible and always strive to become better.
